Our aim is to provide a venue for artists to exhibit and sell their work. In order to respect the needs of the organization and the artist, all artists who wish to rent must observe the Rental Policy’s in place. Artists may only exhibit their own original works.


Studios are leased on a yearly basis and are available to members only and only for art related activities. A waiting list is kept for interested members.There are seven studios on the upper level and may be shared by more than one member. 


There are three galleries: the Main Gallery,the Art Cove Gallery and now the Helen Purvis Alcove gallery.  All are on the main floor and can be rented by both members and non-members. Applications must be made well in advance of the requested exhibit dates to ensure booking of the dates requested.  We are usually booking one year ahead.
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve dates and the balance due three months before the show.

Applications may be submitted anytime and dates requested will be considered on a first come, first served and availability basis.  When applying for gallery rentals, artists should be prepared with application, 4-6 images either on CD or 4x6" prints of their works and their artist bio.  After review the applicant is notified. 

The Main Gallery is booked on a weekly basis and for group or solo shows usually 2-3 weeks at a time.
The Art Cove Gallery is booked on a monthly basis.
The Helen Purvis Alcove Gallery is available on a monthly basis.

Booking Schedule and Policy:  All shows are installed on a Sunday and dismantled on Saturday at 3 pm when the gallery closes. Alternate times may be arranged.

Commission on Sales in the galleries:  Commission applies to all items sold in the galleries and classroom.
Members – 15% --- Non-Members – 35%

Commission on Gift Shop Sales:

Member: 30%

We do not charge or collect HST on sales.

Both members and non-members are welcome to rent and enjoy the use of our spacious ground floor classroom for art related activities.  It is perfect for large projects, teaching classes, lectures, seminars and art parties.  The workshop is a great meeting place for visual artists and through support of the City of Brampton we are able to keep rental rates very affordable.Please contact the administration office for more details and availability.
